ResellMobiel is introducing Teams for Mobile, a service that links the business mobile number to Microsoft Teams. According to the company, no additional Microsoft telephony licences are required. The rollout starts in December 2026 via resellers and MSPs, who offer the service under their own brand. The recommended price is €6.10 per user per month.
Teams for Mobile is an add-on to the business mobile subscriptions that ResellMobiel offers on the nationwide 5G network. The Hague-based company supplies white-label mobile telephony and data to business resellers. They sell the subscriptions under their own name, while ResellMobiel handles the network, billing and technology. The company says it charges no entry fees or fixed monthly costs.
How the service works
According to ResellMobiel, users make calls with the same mobile number via Teams or via the standard dialler on their phone. The presence status in Teams also shows when someone is on a mobile call, so colleagues can see who is busy. Calls made via Teams and via the mobile network are combined in a single call history. Voicemail runs at PBX level. The company states that no additional apps or plug-ins are needed on the device.
As a prerequisite, ResellMobiel cites an existing Microsoft 365 licence that includes Teams. According to the company, Teams Phone System, Operator Connect and Teams Phone Mobile are not required. The press release does not explain how the integration with Teams is achieved technically.
Pricing and comparison with Microsoft
The recommended price is €6.10 per user per month. According to ResellMobiel, there are no set-up or activation fees. The company compares this price with the route via Microsoft itself. To achieve a comparable result there, ResellMobiel says, Teams Phone (€9.80) and Teams Phone Mobile (€6.00) are needed, totalling €15.80 per user per month.
This comparison was drawn up by ResellMobiel. The press release does not make clear whether the functionality of the two solutions is a like-for-like match. Moreover, this is a recommended price: partners decide for themselves what rate they charge their customers. And because Teams for Mobile is an add-on, the end customer also takes out a business mobile subscription via ResellMobiel. In the comparison, the cost of that subscription comes on top of the price of the add-on.
Role of partners
The service is sold exclusively through partners. Resellers and MSPs offer Teams for Mobile under their own brand and set their own selling price and margin. Configuration and management are handled via the ResellMobiel portal. According to the company, partners get direct access to second-line support.
With this service, ResellMobiel is explicitly targeting MSPs and Microsoft partners that manage Microsoft 365 environments for their customers. The company expects these providers to be able to combine mobile telephony with their existing Teams-related services in this way.
The rollout starts in December 2026. The company has not yet announced how existing mobile numbers will be transferred to the service.
