Aces Direct has achieved EcoVadis Platinum recognition for its sustainability performance. With a score of 92 points, the Tilburg-based IT company ranks among the top 1 per cent of organisations assessed by EcoVadis over the past year. EcoVadis is an organisation that rates companies worldwide on their sustainability performance, based on policies, concrete measures, certifications and reporting. Last year, Aces Direct achieved Gold status with a score of 77 points.
Assessment criteria
EcoVadis assesses organisations on four themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. According to Aces Direct, the company has recently invested in strengthening its ESG policy, in circular IT solutions for customers, in supplier management and in the electrification of its vehicle fleet. The company says it also works with reporting and measurable sustainability targets.
Since May 2026, Aces Direct has been a member of the UN Global Compact, the United Nations sustainability initiative under which companies commit to principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
Ambition for 2030
Sven van Boxtel, CEO of Aces Direct, describes the Platinum medal as confirmation that the company is on track to become the most sustainable IT Lifecycle partner in the Netherlands by 2030. Van Boxtel says customers are increasingly asking for demonstrable proof that sustainability is not an empty promise, and that in his view the score achieved shows that this promise is being delivered throughout the entire chain.
Alignment with certifications
The Platinum status comes on top of Aces Direct’s existing ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and WEEELABEX certifications. The company says this means customers are working with a supplier that meets international sustainability requirements and provides support with compliance and sustainability goals. Aces Direct reports that its circular IT solutions contribute to CO2 reduction and resource savings for customers.
