TrendAI integrates NVIDIA Nemotron into Vision One for private clouds

TrendAI, a business unit of Trend Micro, is integrating NVIDIA Nemotron’s open-weight models into TrendAI Vision One for Sovereign and Private Cloud (SPC). This means the AI models run within infrastructure that customers manage themselves. According to the company, this gives organisations access to AI capabilities such as guided investigations and autonomous SIEM agents, without security data leaving their own environment.

The announcement is part of a further expansion of the partnership between TrendAI and NVIDIA. Vision One SPC allows organisations to deploy TrendAI’s security platform within private clouds, sovereign clouds and on-premises environments. The Nemotron integration adds AI-assisted security capabilities to this.

Open-weight models on in-house hardware

Nemotron consists of open-weight models. TrendAI says this means the model is brought to the data rather than the other way round. Customers decide for themselves where the model runs, which version they deploy and who has access to it. The models run on NVIDIA-accelerated hardware in customers’ own data centres, sovereign clouds and environments with limited connectivity, with no dependence on external inference services. TrendAI and NVIDIA are also working together on OpenShell. According to the companies, this provides an additional security layer for agents, with visibility into and control over all agent activity.

Rachel Jin, CEO of TrendAI, says sovereignty goes beyond where data is stored. In her view, organisations must also be able to determine where the AI that works with that data runs and how it is governed. Jin believes organisations should not have to give up the operational benefits of AI just because their security data has to remain within their own environment. John Fanelli, Vice President Enterprise Software at NVIDIA, says open models give organisations the transparency and control that sovereign environments require. According to Fanelli, this enables organisations to use sensitive data without it slipping out of their control.

What the integration includes

TrendAI says that, with the Nemotron integration, Vision One SPC supports a number of capabilities. AI-assisted threat analysis examines security signals to identify threat patterns, attack chains and AI-native attack paths. Policy-driven response carries out actions based on policies set by the organisation, under the control of the security team. Guided Security Operations helps teams investigate threats and prioritise response activities. The agentic SIEM capabilities correlate telemetry data and support security analysis, with the team maintaining oversight.

Design partner in Oman

TITECH, which provides sovereign security operations to customers in Oman, is working as a design partner on the Nemotron integration ahead of its general availability. CEO Mohammed Hassan says that with Vision One SPC, his customers retain control over their own security and comply with national data residency legislation. According to Hassan, Nemotron will also allow TITECH to offer AI-assisted threat analysis while preserving data sovereignty and operational control.

Bechtle has also responded to the announcement. Mathias Schick, Business Manager Security at Bechtle AG, says that as organisations move from experimenting with AI to actual deployment, security and control must be embedded in the infrastructure from the outset. Schick describes integrating AI security into sovereign and private cloud environments as an important step, particularly for organisations with strict security and compliance requirements.

Availability

TrendAI Vision One for Sovereign and Private Cloud is already available. The company has not disclosed when the Nemotron integration will become generally available. TrendAI will be giving live demonstrations at NVIDIA GTC Berlin, which takes place from 20 to 22 October 2026.
